Your role

What is it about

As a Data Scientist, you are considered part of 2 teams. You will be a senior member of Project Services: a multi-disciplinary team managing research projects from A to Z, from initial set-up to preparing client-ready deliverables; as well as a member of the Client Services Team: A client-facing team that delivers reports and recommendations. You will work on projects for exciting companies such as Philips, Jacobs Douwe Egberts or Red Bull as well as a broader selection of industries in FMCG & tech. Within your team you are responsible for consultative analyses, reporting as well as analyzing and interpreting large data sets in order to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges You process large set of data in various ways, from manipulating in analytical tools, to table reporting, charting, as well as writing conclusions and partnering with consultants to craft the full research report.
Your responsibilities

What you'll do

  • You build and optimize reports applying statistical analysis
  • You use state-of the-art techniques in order to maximize efficiency in analysis
  • Processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • You automate reports and error-detection systems
  • You develop data architecture, data modelling and mapping solutions
  • You develop unique and simple solutions to meet the immediate and long-term needs of the business
  • You create best practices for data processing and reporting
  • You share your knowledge with the wide organizations and help multiple accounts to reach a high level of efficiency
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, SPSS
  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
  • Experience in building bespoke data warehouse solutions
  • You have good applied statistics skills
  • Experience with data visualisation tools
Your profile

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree e.g. Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or a similar study Fluent in English, both spoken and written 5+ years of experience in data analysis Strong interest in market research and knowledge of quantitative research techniques Proven experience working in analytical / statistical programmes (eg Python, SPSS, R, Matlab, SAS, etc.) Proven experience in charting and building compelling reports. Communicative and structured
