As a Research Consultant in our Australian team, you will be a valued member of a team of enthusiastic marketers and researchers that are determined to shape the sustainable future for your clients’ brands. Through your passion for research and consumer insights, you will part of a team that inspires marketers of top tier companies in finance, tech, FMCG and the pharma categories (amongst others), shaping decision making for some of Australia’s largest organisations. As part of the client service team, you will work closely with experienced researchers to understand the client’s needs and then work with your team design and execute research projects that will illuminate clear and strategic consumer insights. You will learn on the job from experienced research professionals, and you’ll bring your own inputs to key brainstorms and discussions.
Your responsibilities

What you'll do

  • At first, you’ll upskill and grow in a variety of research approaches, techniques and project management;
  • As you build confidence, you will dive into analysis and reporting to fully grasp the InSites way of working;
  • We will train you in key research skills and help you upskill in areas such as questionnaire design, discussion guide development, moderation, analysis and more;
  • You will contribute as part of an account team, to creating impactful reports that support our clients in their strategic decision-making process;
  • You team up with Senior Consultants and Senior Account Managers who will directly coach and support you. Together, as a team you will manage the complete set-up, organisation and execution of market research studies;
  • This is a client facing role - you will be in close contact with some of our largest clients to deliver high-value content and services;
  • You gain experience and knowledge in a broad range of marketing domains, both within the projects you are involved in, and within training;
  • You will learn about how to manage and work with different departments in a global organisation
Your profile

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with a basic grounding in market research (1+ years’ experience); however, we will also accept applications from fresh graduates who can demonstrate a solid grounding in project management and market research basics; You will have graduated from university with a degree in psychology, commerce/business, economics, mathematics, communications, arts or similar; You will have good time management skills and can manage multiple projects simultaneously; You are marketing literate and can demonstrate an interest in understanding consumer behaviour; You uncover where you could provide further benefits to your clients and offer suggestions for further work.
