Your role

You are a member of Project Services, catering for the set-up and execution of research and activation projects. You are a member of a multi-disciplinary team that is able to manage projects from A to Z, from initial set-up document to preparing client-ready deliverables. Within your team you are responsible for coordinating the execution of all research and activation projects. You are involved in all steps of the process, from briefing the implementation team to following-up on final deliverables. As a project manager you are the key contact person for all parties involved. You work in close collaboration with both the sales and implementation team, and you follow-up with external partners (e.g. field work partner, moderators, etc.). Through communication you ensure a smooth project execution, resulting in the highest quality in the most efficient and effective way.
Your responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Recruitment:
  • Guide team members in recruiting participants for both quantitative and qualitative research projects, with little complexity (straightforward target group, simple quoata structure, standard partners involved, standard countries, etc.)
  • Full ownership & responsibility in executing the recruitment strategy independently and give feedback / advise for improvement. Find alternative solutions for projects where the data collection does not run smoothly (eg set-up alternative recruitment channel, etc.). Collaborate with experts of 'Research Networks' in doing this.
  • Ocular visit of Testing areas to ensure set-ups are properly placed / implemented
  • Data Quality Control:
  • Guide team members in executing quality checks and act as a knowledgeable sparring partner.
  • Activation & Engagement:
  • Draw conclusions based on field progress reports (both of ad hoc and structural projects) and understand whether the strategy is successful or not.
  • Assist the consultant team in designing (copywriting, question writing, etc.) engagement topics to ensure long-term activity on our Research & Activation Platforms.
  • Participate to the brainstorm of the engagement content calendar, and improve suggestions where needed.
  • Support your senior colleagues in developing the long-term activation & engagement strategy, to expand the life cycle of participants. This includes understanding progress and defining corrective actions where needed (e.g. define professional respondents, clarify need for new recruits, etc.).
  • Assist the consultant team in designing (copywriting, question writing, etc.) engagement topics to ensure long-term activity on our Research & Activation Platforms. Run extra project specific analyses (on activity data) in defining those actions.
  • Budget Management:
  • Responsible for handling incentives in collaboration with the consultant and experts.
  • You make sure all participants get the right compensation based on set agreements and activities. You do this for projects with medium/high complexity (e.g. multiple compensation systems, complex rules for granting compensation, need to make executive decisions, etc.)
  • Project Management:
  • Accountable and responsible for the timely implementation of research and activation projects. You do this for projects with medium/high complexity, either because of methodology (eg. multiple methodologies, etc.) or scope (e.g. hard target group, involvement of new parties, etc.). For these projects, you are the first person in line to answer questions and follow-up requests from people involved in the project exection (internal project service team, external moderators & freelancers, etc.).
  • Have a good understanding of the project specifications (background, objectives, approach, etc.) and challenge the consultant team where needed.
  • Responsible for briefing the project service team and lead the project from start till finish (set-up, implementation, data collection and analyses / reporting). You follow-up with the project service team and are able to answer project specific questions.
  • Project Planning:
  • Craft a micro-planning for projects. You ensure a realistic planning, taking into account internal capacity, skills of the project service team and client's expectations. You advice and assist the team in planning of internal resources. You do this for projects with little complexity, following a standard methodology (e.g. 1 methodology, etc.) or scope (e.g. easy target group, involvement of trusted parties, etc.).
  • Regularly check-in with the project service team to have a good understanding of the project status. You report progress to the consultant team and highlight key events that impact the project implementation. You make sure the project implementation is done according to the agreed timing and milestones.
  • Method management:
  • Think along with the consultant team and give advice on how improve the research experience of consumers. You understand implications (time & feasibility) of specific (change) requests and can advice different alternative solutions. You guide team members in executing quality checks and act as a knowledgeable sparring partner.
  • Have a good understanding of different research and activation methodologies, and are able to give advice to consultant teams. You recommend changes to the research activation approach based on your expertise, and challenge consultant teams to improve quality. You do this for projects with little complexity, following a standard methodology (e.g. 1 methodology, etc.) or scope (e.g. easy target group, involvement of trusted parties, etc.).
  • Account Management:
  • Assess importance of urgency of specific client request and weigh them against each other. You use this knowledge to better coordinate between projects and prioritize tasks for the project service team.
  • Support the consultant team in client communication by delivering support where possible (e.g. prepare update on progress, answer questions related to project implementation, etc.)
Your profile

What you'll bring

We are looking for an experienced new colleague with 1-3 years of experience in a similar project management role. You are proficient in English (both oral and written), and have a strong interest in market research.
