Your role
What is it about
As an In-house Paralegal, you are part of our Global Corporate Finance & Legal team, which is the beating heart of all financial management and operations at InSites Consulting. You will join the Finance & Legal team in our Manchester office or remotely, but you will be working for all +20 entities across the globe. You will report to the Head of Legal but will collaborate with many stakeholders in the InSites Consulting group.
In your role as In-house Paralegal you will provide support on different types of legal matters (contracts, corporate housekeeping, data protection and privacy regulation) in a pragmatic manner. You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Legal and other stakeholders in the business.
You will collaborate with our external legal advisors on specialized and/or local legal topics and will translate the advice into efficient processes and legal documentation.
This position can also be filled as a remote job.
Your responsibilities
What you'll do
- Reviewing and drafting legal documents and commercial contracts (including client contracts, supplier contracts, NDA’s, lease agreements, …)
- Providing feedback on legal terms and conditions
- Advising the local business on overall compliance with local laws and regulations
- Securing InSites’ legal policies and guidelines are followed by internal stakeholders through training, information sessions and keeping policies up to date and relevant
- Advising the business on overall compliance with local laws and regulations (especially data privacy and security)
- Dealing with ad hoc legal matters as required by the Head of Legal and as required by the needs of the business
- Acting as a business partner with close proximity to the organization, being proactively in this respect
- Legal toolbox development: develop and maintain the InSites’ legal documents templates
- Insurance management: in collaboration with a broker, ensuring adequate insurance covering for all activities
- Corporate housekeeping
Your profile
What you'll bring
You have a degree in Law and 2-3 years of proven experience in a business environment or as a corporate lawyer. You have excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law and an interest in data privacy regulation. You are looking for a position with growth and aspire to be a Legal Advisor to the business.
