Your role

What is it about

As a Research Manager in our Berlin office, you connect brands with people and cultures to drive positive change. You are part of an international cross-border team that runs quantitative and qualitative research projects to inspire marketers of cool companies within our client portfolio in the FMCG sector, such as Nestlé, Tony Chocolonely, Beiersdorf and Jacob Douwe Egberts. The key role of the Research Manager is to fully manage research projects along with mentoring junior consultants.
Your responsibilities

What you'll do

  • You are responsible for running projects from A to Z; from setting up a research project to delivering an impactful report and presentation to the client, while keeping the business objectives in mind in every step of the process.
  • You become the team’s workshop expert, bringing impact, actionability & energy to both clients and colleagues.
  • You design narrative-led reports with advanced and actionable marketing advice, to support your clients in their decision making.
  • You are in close contact with clients to understand their strategic goals, which you translate into concrete research objectives.
  • You work with Research & Business Directors that will coach and support you.
  • You develop market research and marketing expertise and knowledge on client projects.
  • Delegation of work to more junior members of the team where appropriate.
Your profile

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with experience in qualitative or qualitative and quantitative market research. On top of that, you are confident in dealing with clients and familiar with running client workshops and presentations and love interaction and story telling. Lastly, you are proficient in English (oral and written) and ideally also German or Dutch. Experience in innovation research is definitely a bonus.
