IT Support Engineer

Your role

What is it about

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our global IT Operations team and provide IT support to all internal users / employees by following the best practices in place. Together with the IT Operations team you will be responsible for the IT service desk & support of all the company's hardware and software. You are able to align different service desk and regions in one unified process and maintain an international IT infrastructure.
Your responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Support our end users on hardware and software.
  • Maintenance and setup of end user devices (Windows & Mac).
  • Management of the service desk, Office 365 and other licenses.
  • Create documentation and training materials.
  • Installation and support of IT equipment (Wi-Fi access points, printers, videoconferencing, etc).
  • Deploying new software and IT environment monitoring.
  • Security operations (access control, configuration, patches, security updates, vulnerability scanning).
  • Contact & follow-up with external suppliers for hardware purchases.
  • Asset and stock management (including wiping and disposal of devices).
  • You can do magical things with scripting (office automation tasks).
Your profile

What you'll bring

You have at least 3 years of IT experience. Bachelor in computer science or similar (or a proven track record in IT). Knowledge of helpdesk software (Fresh Service, Zendesk, Jira, etc). Knowledge of software deployment automation & unattended installs. Knowledge of IT networks, systems & security. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and related services: Windows 10, Windows Server Active Directory, GPO, WSUS, DFS, Exchange Server, IIS, etc. System Center Configuration Manager Office 365 management and migrations Azure or cloud environments PowerShell scripting Remote working techniques: Citrix, VPN, Remote desktop. Familiarity with routers, switches, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FTPS, VPN, HTTPS, etc. Background of IT security techniques (technology, procedures, etc.) and ISO 27001 certificate is a plus.
