Hi there! I’m Annie; I’ve been working in research since 2013, and I joined InSites Consulting (then Join the Dots) in 2016.​

The thing I love the most about my job is getting to know people (as cringey as that might sound). I’m the type of person who finds out a person’s life story if I’m sat next to them on the bus, so working in research is basically the ideal career for me.​

My primary account is Co-op, which has given me the opportunity to develop my skills with in-store shopper research – from accompanied shops to eye tracking to time-lapse videos. It makes me a nightmare to go food shopping with. ​

I’ve also recently had the chance to do a secondment for Co-op, working client side. It’s great to see how research gets embedded into the business after our final debrief is done. ​

Outside of work, I’d love to be able to pretend that I have an exciting hobby, but actually I just like cuddling my dog and watching Netflix!​
