Hi! I’m Cherry Huang, a culture researcher from Wenzhou, China.​

I have a background in marketing and international project management. I like to communicate with interesting people from different cultural backgrounds. During my master’s study, I went undercover in several restaurants to explore underpaid workers and their work life balance!​

At InSites Consulting (previously Join the Dots), I coordinate our Illume Network, recruiting and engaging leading-edge, culturally-savvy individuals around the world. The Network currently has around 250 people in 45 countries around the world, and I can quite quickly use our existing Guides to reach out to other suitably savvy consumers. ​

I also produce content for our Illume Stories blog, running a series of Guide interviews on topics including food, fashion and societal shifts. And I lead the creation of Illume Guide Instagram ‘take-overs’, where our Guides take the reins of our account for the weekend, offering a window into their lives and local culture.​

In my free time, I learn Spanish, dance flamenco, and play the guitar and the ukulele. I also love reading and travelling to new places. As a lucid dreamer, I can be more active in the night.
